I just started Stormblood expansion, so I have plenty to do before EW and I am not eager to wait for it as of now. New expansion is (almost) always exiting no matter what the game is

Hype Train was Boarded since forever, November Hurry up!!
Not really.

I'm very excited for it. Mainly so I have more content to do. I'm really curious how the MSQ will play out. We have just some basic infos and plot points. I have no idea what the story will feel like and what will happen, and this is very exciting.
Since this is the end of this arc and they have so many plot points to wrap up, I hope the msq is engaging and full of reveals since early on. With Shadowbringer, I personally felt like the coolness of the story and the reveals were all stacked to the latter part of the MSQ, near that mt gulg part and onwards. Something that I personally really want to see is real consequences. This is the end of the story arc and the literal end of the world. I want one or more main characters to die. I felt like the last time an important and belived character died was in heavensward. And there were 3 of them that died. I know death for shock value is bad, but they've shown how they can make it impactful.
I also really hope that the patches are back to the stormblood level of content. It feels like everything suffered in shadowbringers. It was not just one less dungeon per patch, it's even the little things. We didn't get more sightseeing logs in the patches like we used to, we didn't get an allied beast tribe quest, and hells, we didn't even get the riding maps for norvrandt zoned exchangeable for sacks of nuts. We'll never be able to ride mounts fast on land like on the other zones, just to show how we got less in general.
I'm actually going bunnyboi. Hyper, really.
I'm very excited!![]()
I can't wait to try out Sage and see what changes they are going to make to the other healer roles. And I am secretly hoping that one day we will get fashion accessories that are available during battle or we will get a more realistic version of angelic/demonic wings as glamour.
Not in the slightest. I haven't even pre-ordered it yet.
I was excited for Shadowbringers and it turned out to be a bitter disappointment. There's nothing to suggest Endwalker isn't headed in the same direction.
A few key notes I’m not looking forward to, but interested in are as follows
Jobs: duh more importantly how screwed up are the healers gonna be, how they will inevitably make MNK, BRD and some other job no one asked to be accessible be accessible. How they’ll stagnate RDM and MCH by giving them 1 skill or somthing, my inevitable rant on how Sage and Reaper has so few weapon choices like DNC and GNB whom still have inferior options. Yes it’s mostly negative SHB did a terrible job with jobs with the only notable positive change was nitpicking MNK, but I hope to see some reworks or retooling to make jobs better not easier and simpler which might be the philosophy for the two new jobs
Dungeons: 8 dungeons will be added and after the blandness that is the SHB dungeon roster, Im just begging them to add something to them to make them engaging. More mechs, more hazards stop treating me like this is the first dungeon in the game.
Story: probably the only thing in the game that has a good chance of being satisfactory despite the *Spoilers* bland as hell villains we are forced to act like they are threatening and interesting.
Locales: can’t wait to see how beautiful thavnair is! Been dying to go here since stormblood and all that’s left in my wishlist is Hingashi.
Trails: give em too me! Trials have been either good or great thus far with Titania Seat of sacrifice and ruby being notable mentions. Looking forward to the 3 they introduce here including 2 EX
