Bonus for winning with all jobs. (& new type of drop system)

You should hold contests for the new content on who can beat it first using one of each class.

Add an achievement for doing it as well posibly with a reward.

That'll get people thinking outside the box and using all classes. (maybe lol)

Make the reward good enough and it'll probably take. Have it as a lower drop rate (not too low mind you, but similar to something you'd get out a box from a primal)

    **Added**

    Better still,
For primals, make it so that you can only get the weapon if you're on that class/job during the fight.

Linkshells can always start by testing with these horrid all range all blm strats, once they know and get comfortable with the fight, start changing it up and going for other weapons.

At least it'll get people having to try more strats, get all jobs being used. People won't say, "I'm sorry, you can't come, you're a MNK/DRG/PLD"

It'll also be fun because people will have to tackle the content with each new job they level, once they level it. Prolonging the life of the content.

Harder to find parties, maybe. More rewarding when you do, definitely.

    Some lore for your belts:
Ifrit, The buckle was made from Ifrit's horn (attack +30)
Moogle, enchanged by the magic of moogles (Acc +30)
Garudas, Made using the feathers of garuda (eva +30 or weapon delay/casting reduction)

How about, rather then having the weapons drop like they do now, make them obtained through an achievement.
20 kills as GLA/PLD, you finish the achievement and can pick up you're sword.
50 kills going with a party set up as all classes/job, get your belt.

20 runs through the dungeon, pick a darklight peice, 100 runs for the body.

for the weapons, if they're now convertable into materia, make it every 10 kills to get you're 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on.

At least if people knew their goals they wouldnt' have a reason to be mad at the horrid drop rates.

There's already an achievement for having all jobs leveled to 50.

I don't think that's what they meant, I think they mean by goin in as a party with one WAR, one PLD, one MNK, one BLM, etc... So one of each of the seven jobs. That would require people to change their tactics a bit... An interesting idea.
What kind of drop should they add for it though? I think there should be an achievement at least.

This idea is not evil, it would be amazingly helpful. Could you imagine being able to force the weapon you want to drop just by going on that class? Would be sweet.

I am ALL FOR this idea. I love the challenge of trying to figure out how to beat it with one of each class.

Problem is locking people into one of each job is the same thing as locking everyone into one job. If someone is not good enough to go as one job, usually not good enough to go as any job.

I was thinking about this when I came up with it.

    1) Just having it so that you need to be that class to get that weapon is probably enough to allow people to lean toward different set ups.

    2) None of the fights as of yet are really all that hard that you can't beat it with all classes (by looking at the fight, I think Garuda was tailored with all class set ups in mind)

    3) if you don't have the job levelled, you don't need the weapon

    4) If people aren't comfortable enough with a job, it's good incentive to practise and get better with it. Earning your weapons

    5) It wouldn't be mandatory to be all classes all the time. Just if you're going for the belt. 50 kills isn't that bad in reality, it's not forcing you to go for it.
You could also try 20 kills as all classes, treat it as a weapon. One kill as all classes, give it as a bonus. Or just keep the all classes thing as an achievement (no reward).

Personally though, I feel like rewards are much sweeter when you have to earn them. (Which is where the need to be that class to get the weapon for it comes in)

Plus, doesn't 20 times as that class sound better then possibly 300+ times at the chance of obtaining the weapon you want? (totems has now fixed this problem, but people lean towards the cheesy set ups :/. The game has become increasingly boring because of this. imo)
