[Request] Please utilise the achievement certificate system more frequently!

I've been meaning to make a thread based around this subject for a while now and I suppose this is as good a time as any. When I first began playing this game, back in the early days of ARR, I found it delightful that every month or so I would be sent a a reward in the mail as part of the veteran reward system.

It was argued that, after a certain point, it would take too long for newer players to catch up and obtain all of the veteran rewards and so the system was quietly retired and replaced with something far more accessible - namely the achievement certificate system.

This has, however, been woefully underutilised to the point where new additions are few and far between despite each new content patch adding a fair number of new achievements.

Simply put, my request is that more attention is paid to the system in question - especially during periods of content lulls. I'm sure many players, new and veteran alike, would appreciate seeing a cool mount, minion or glamour added to the achievement certificate vendor every three months or so.

I do not believe that such would be too much work for the development team to handle, especially since it would be a great way to begin implementing requests from the community that may not necessarily fit elsewhere.

Another benefit is, of course, further incentive to pursue achievements in the first place - as currently they exist largely for bragging rights on many fronts.

So, in terms of what rewards could potentially be added to the vendor I am very curious as to what suggestions people here have!

Also the issue where long time players like myself had all the veteran rewards when they retired that system so there's been just about nothing worthwhile to use those achievement points on as they continue to accumulate.

Its another feature thats nice for newbies, but does nothing for veterans playing 14 for years.
I have so many achievement points, but nothing to spend them on...

You know if they made fantasia purchasable with achievement points that would be nice. I don't think they should go all in and make everything on the cash shop purchasable via points, just fantasia and dyes would suffice imo cuz that's the real endgame. It will also be the Untradable version of dyes so it can't be sold on the MB and is purely character bound.

Unfortunately, I suspect this precisely why they haven't added much of anything. They realized veteran players have so many achievement points they aren't actually being incentivized to do additional content. At the same time, they don't want to make something overly expensive since it'll be out of reach for new players. At least for a considerably long time.

You can get your veteran rewards and achievement items conveniently from the mogstore.

For money.

I know they would never, but since achievement tokens are a currency that has a cap, adding fantasias to redeem. Fantas are such a popular item that I feel like even if it's only to get like, 1 fanta for 30 or 50 tokens, it'd encourage people to do some achievement hunting.

All mogstation items should be put into the achi vendor, as an alternative. As it stands now, the tokens are worthless.
