    I feel left off...

English is not my first language but I have no problem using it, however sometimes trying to convey a feeling might lead to wrong choice of words. Just keep it in mind when reading the text.

While there's still a lot to do in the game as far I'm concerned, the addition of the late mount (Cruise Chaser) to the MogStation left a bad taste in my mouth. But this event opened a discussion in my FC: why limit what I can get for doing a content that the vast majority of the players will not do (mainly Ultimates) to a title and a glowing reused weapon that IS accessible for whoever complete it, but limit to the first 100 that did a content that actively not many does (PVP Feast gear/mount) and that you'll never be able to acquire anymore.

For me, as a player, I feel like I'm undervalued as an Ultimate Raider when compared to a PVPer. As the player base of the game increase, more people will clear Ultimates, thus increasing the appearance of the title/weapons, but no matter how much you invest into PvP, you'll no longer will be able to receive past rewards, only future ones (assuming you stay in the first 100th).

It seems like much of the resource of the game is invested into something temporary, and I hate it. If this is read at all by the developers, I know I'm not the majority of the player base as an ultimate raider, however I'd also like to be able to receive nice things that no one will be able to in the future for my investiment in the moment. That or let everyone be able to receive all those nice things from other methods, even if it's a recolor/reskin/etc and not the original. I just don't like the idea of having something so good so limited.

    Thank you.

I agree with you. People get upset because the paid cosmetics feel like a way to circumvent progressing the game. Imagine if there was a glamour that looked like an ultimate skin. Glowing, red, and green this time. The would-be a pretty intense outcry about that. Or if you could buy a title with legend in it. It would mean less. People are scared that if they continue to make paid cosmetics that are better than accomplishment-based ones the game will be less good and enjoyable. They are worried it will devolve into a P2W game like so many others have. It always starts small and gradually grows more and more until you have everything P2W like WOW. I wish hard accomplishments allowed for more visible rewards. Or rewards were more visible to the user. Like when you buy an inn room, having the ability to see a collection tab in which all of your accomplishments were for display. You could see all the accomplishments you collected and what needs to be collected. Like having a relic weapon display that lights up with each finished relic.

Also to help the correct usage is left out. Not left off.

I mean others CAN see your accomplishments if they look up your in-game name in the lodestone, but yeah it would be pretty cool to have an in-game collection tab.

I understand what you mean, but that's beside my point. Maybe the construction of the sentense wasn't good, so I'll try to rephrase it: Endgame contents rewards, like Ultimates, are limited to a title and reskinned weapons, with glowing effects. Now, don't get me wrong, some of those I really like and I think it's really great a way to preserve the "uniqueness", since the content will stay pretty much relevant even after other x-pacs, due to the fact you can't "overgear" it. I'm also not saying that investiments aren't being made in these contents.

My argument is that some resources goes to a section of the game that isn't that big when compared to Ultimates. That isn't to say it's not good. A lot of people like pvp and, as other contents in the game, it should be treated with care. I myself went just a bit, but it's not my cup of tea (no pun intended... maybe). The problem lies in the fact that those resources goes too into creating of gearsets, weapons and mounts, which are REALLY good imho, but are ONLY available for the first 100 characters. Because you can play with alts and be placed like, 3rd and 50th, both your characters will win the armor set, limiting even more who can win it. That in itself is a discussion for another topic and I'm not touching that here.

Limiting what your resources went to so much, in this case PVP rewards, greatly increase the value of it, as you'll never be able to attain it again. Nevermore. And here lies the problem. With the increase in of the player base, many more will start doing PVP and Ultimates (for the sake of this arguments I'll limit myself with these two). With due time, Ultimate weapons WILL become a common thing, with many new players conquering the difficult, spreading the possibility of doing it to many more players, where even more casual players can do it (it's a question of "can you invest time to learn your class/fight"?), devaluing the fight in itself, but turning the design of it (the Ultimates, per say) more valuable. Then when you look into PVP, that mount, gearset, weapon, you won't be able to ever get it again, making those kind of rewards unique, highly valued, where you were here in the game, during that period of time to be able to attain it.

Part of me is happy to see the community grow, to see that the game doing good. But the end game raider in me, is feeling completly left out (thanks Mischievious), because what I do love in the game, is seen as an elitist thing, so shouldn't have that many investment.

There hasnt been new Feast map since 3.2 ..

Frontline maps released in patches: 2.3 (thats ARR!), 3.05 (thats HW!), 3.3 (HW!) then nothing till 5.15 (thats SHB!)

Making armor thats in different hues dont take much from actual devolopment.

Yes more players means more people will attempt ultimates. But unless they are good, it will stay at attempts. Just because ten thousand sprouts will throw themselves at TEA or others doesnt mean they will "eventually clear it".

Also gatekeeping ultimates is kinda terrible idea overall. Getting more and more hardcore raiders in game is more than healthy. If you leave it at "only for few" then the resources and budget will eventually wither away because people dont bother.
