The game won't let me switch from free to play to subscription

Hello. I'm trying to switch from free to play to subscription but the game won't let me for some reason. I have entered my debit card information into my Square Enix account and I have bought the complete edition. It still says I haven't sub'd. I don't understand what I need to do. Will someone please help me out? I've contacted support but they won't get back to me. Thank you in advance!

Have you registered the code for the complete edition onto the MogStation?
Only once you have registered the code will you be allowed to subscribe.

Log on to the MogStation from the FFXIV main page
Click on Manage Service Options - DO NOT CLICK ON ADD NEW SERVICE ACCOUNT!!!!!
You will then get options to enter registration code and after that options to add subscription

So you bought the complete edition. The retailer should have sent you a code. You need to enter this code into the mog station, then you can subscribe. The complete edition comes with 30 days free so you don't have to worry about the subscription right away.

I just looked at my receipt for purchase of the complete edition and there is no code anywhere.

I want the subscription because my friend plays and I want to join her Free company, and as you know, I can't join unless I am sub'd. I looked at my receipt for my purchase of the Complete edition four times and there is not a code anywhere. This is frustrating unfortunately.

By the way, I'm playing on Playstation 5. I just read a about activation and it states that Playstation 5 doesn't need a code. So, I don't know where to go from here. I really don't want to have to wait 3 more weeks to join her guild. I also can't do a lot of other things as a free to play.

Just checking back to see if anyone has any idea? I was thinking of just getting a 60 day game card but I'm not even sure how to do that lol. Thank you for your help by the way. The people here are awesome compared to the MMO that I came from.

You can buy a time card from Amazon and the SE store. Any codes sent by PSN purchases will be sent to the email linked to your PSN ID. Have you been playing on the PS5 the whole time or did you switch?

I know that depending on the website you buy from, sometimes the code you need to register ends up in an email. Amazon tends to save codes separately in a page on the website that i always have a hard time finding if its my first time looking for it in a few months(which it usually is for me anyway). Other sites might have other quirks.

And this might be a stupid question, but are you sure you cant join the FC already? Unless im mistaken, you dont have to be subbed to join - you just need to be off the free trial. The quickest way to test this would be to try to do one of the things that is restricted on the free trial - a /shout or /tell. If it goes through, you are considered upgraded and should be able to accept membership into what i can only assume is the Jades.
