Leveling: Seeking solutions to the sixties’ slog!

Alright, I’ve asked variations on this question before, but let me approach it more broadly and with a more open mind reflective of my evolving tastes.

I really value leveling efficiency, but where I can do so I will prioritize “owning my time” as a greater desire, and so I greatly enjoy squads and trusts for leveling. I can step away, chat with friends via email or other external messaging systems and otherwise play on my own time while hanging out with NPC dungeon parties.

Which brings us to the slog that are the 60’s.

I know that Bozja is a “70’s only” leveling option, and I was wondering if I was missing a similar option for the 60’s. I do enjoy heaven on high, but it can be… the opposite of variety on a weekend with lots of time to level.

Joboholics, efficiency sticklers, how do you get through the 60’s? The long slog between squads and trusts (literally my favorite content/systems in this game) truly tests me, and if there’s some lesser known, efficient leveling lane once roulettes are exhausted for the day in this leveling bracket, I’m wide open for suggestions here!

Thanks in advance for any and all helpful replies!

Kojin and Ananta beast tribe daily quests will give a bit of a boost, easily done while waiting in queues for other options.

I just did leveling roulette/alliance roulette and then moved on to other things. Eventually you hit 70/71.

In previous expansions when people did the deep dungeons regularly it was used for leveling jobs. The other thing I would do when leveling a DPS job is queue a duty then do fates in a zone appropriate for my level while waiting for the queue to pop. Only really worked as a DPS. Tank and Healer pretty much pop the second you push the queue button.

The exp given by Heaven on High is hilariously higher than any other possible exp source in that range. If you don't want to do it, you have no other option than the long haul.

Daily Hunts for both Heavensward and Stormblood areas, as well as Beastmen dailies from both are at your own pace things, done once a day. Underrated because they're not all big big EXP, but you get EXP and seals for aethereyte tickets or glams simultaneously.

Whatever job you're leveling that week, grab your Wondrous Tails book, and solo the soloable duties within it till it's complete, and turn it in on the job you want EXP on.

In general though, roulettes and dungeons + Fates + whatever else in between. I don't like HoH DF parties because it's spamming the same floorset over and over again. I get that you're trying to avoid the public and thus avoid roulettes, but the 60s really aren't much of a slog if you just do roulettes and your highest queued dungeons for the dungeons 61 to 69. Especially if you've got rested bonus and EXP+ earrings. Like if your focus is getting the EXP, then get the EXP.

Like I understand wanting the freedom to step away at a moment's notice, but that's literally the antithesis to efficiency lol Personally I don't find it hard to chat a little bit in between dungeon pulls or when there's an opening in a fight or if I'm tanking and a friend really needs to talk to me at the time.

I just got my amaro not too long ago and I did a variety of things each day

    - Daily roulettes. If you can only stand to do one, MSQ Roulette getting Prae gives you massive exp
    - Daily Hunts - SB definitely but HW are still good into the 60s
    - SB beast tribes - can do the HW with whatever allowances you have left over
    - WT, though that may involve more instances you may not want to run
    - Challenge log
    - FATEs while waiting for whatever queue to pop if everything else is done
    - Any remaining side quests (though I did most on my two main classes already at that point)

Also don't forget to have food going and if you're in an FC, ask for/have up the adv exp buff and get your hands on an exp earring.

I popped into HoH here and there but didn't do it much.

Here's what I've been doing to level the rest of my classes:

    Daily:
    leveling and 50/60/70 dungeon roulettes
MSQ roulette -->if you can stomach the cutscenes (I personally don't bother with this one)
frontline PVP roulette (added bonus: you don't have to play as the class you want to level. just switch after the queue pops. I usually queue in the afternoon or evening for a reasonable queue time)
    beast quests

    Weekly:
wonderous tails 9/9 turn in: usually gives half an exp bar
    challenge log: 10 fates
challenge log: 5 dungeons and give comms
