i must asl this question first... was the person who decided that you find a house after hours of looking, only to go there and figure out its on a random timer that could last 24 hours and you must stand there and spam click on it for the whole time and most likley get nothing,,,,

how how about those same names on every page who clearly own multiple??? TAKE AL BUT 2 HOUSE FROM THEM AND PUT THEM BACK INTO A NAME WITHOUT SUCH A HORRIBLE SYSTEM TO GIVE THEM OUT???

With all due respect to the OP it was made that way for a specific reason due to inherent abuse - if you do a bit of research into the history of housing in FFXIV you will find the details.

Is it perfect? No

Should they change it just because of an influx of players from another game? No

Nobody forces you to camp for 24h, cept your own 'I WANT I NEED RIGHT NOW' mentality.

Which btw is a thing found in a lot of recent wow players and to the main reason the game is the way it is now.

You aren't gonna read any of this anyway but...

Relax and play the game for fun.

Housing isn't M+, stop applying that mindset to everything, lest you want even more things ruined like ya ruined wow!

Well, clearly you sound a little on edge about that. And i feel ya - i did get a house a couple weeks ago, after afk brainclicking during two or three days. But at that point, i do not think it is really useful to angrily post about something we all know by now (except all the WoW players thingy, i don't get your point here).

The system is bad, yes. And Square Enix DO know that, and i believe they are constatly putting their mind into finding solutions that could befit the majority (lotery in 6.1 is already a step in the good direction).

Anyway, don't go camping, ruining your fun, and be salty about it ^^'. Be patient, or camp in turns with other people of your FC.
There is also some Discord Servers that can help you in getting better with that odd housing system.
