Or maybe, just maybe, there are those of us who see this for what is really is: Not a big deal. I don't think I've seen anyone ask for loot boxes either. Then there's people like yourself using a slippery slope fallacy over the addition of things to the cash shop which they have been adding to for years and in a fair manner and not ONCE have they overstepped. They are not overstepping here either. Like I said earlier, this thread (and a couple others) are just an extreme overreaction to something so...insignificant to the game at large. By your logic, the game's been going downhill since ARR, which would be illogical, yes? And there are many, many much cooler mounts obtainable in game only in my opinion.

the game is fine, the aceptance of the comunity over what is coming down the line is not.

I will never understand how people can define their joy of a game over some silly mounts. The game offers so much content but the silly store mount is the last straw for you? Heck your love for this game has to be really really great.

Dunno what is so wrong about supporting the company that brings us joy and good memories and not being a nihilistic emo kid about it. Just see it as a tip you can give them with getting something back.

But heck, if a stupid mount makes a game so bad for you fellas, i won't cry about you leaving. I will in fact buy two mounts next time and give one away to make up for your sad lost sub fee. Cause i can.

People already support the company with their subs, expansion purchase, and optional retainer purchase though. If we continue to get content loss like we’ve seen in ShB, then our support isn’t going very far. I’ve made my own fair share of purchases on the mogstation because i agreed before that it’s nice to support a company that constantly brings out new things. ShB stopped that feeling for me when i saw the constant downgrades in things despite it boasting the highest sales. We’ll see in Endwalker i suppose but considering their biggest promotional thing right now is stardew valley 0.5….not looking good.

I actually 100% agree with you there. It's a personal choice tho if the stuff we got is worth a tip. We got bozja and 3 raids basically in there for free and a extra ex trial. That is much more content that eureka brought us and without the light grind from the past expansions people hated.

But yes, there could be more content. I miss the deepdungeons. And the second dungeon besides every story dungeon we got in the past. We still got no new pvp weapons nor a second shb pvp set. I understand that corona hit them too and i hope now that the pandemic is slowly over they own up to it in endwalker.

But i tell all people the same story. I know how SE was before XIV. I rather shove all my money into their mouth instead of seeing SE again as it was, XIV is the only reason this company is still breathing and i rather see them making money and living on than them dying again and butchering other franchises like Deus EX.

What i was telling you is to take some of your friends and have a fun time instead of drowning your mood in this topic. You seem to be really down about this topic and i feel with you. Sub price may have stayed the same but the sub sales have gone up increasingly to more than make up for it. It’s common sense. Especially when it’s not like they’ve done anything like try to improve the engine or anything of that nature.
