Why is the Cruise Chaser mount from the Mogstation?

I wonder how people would react when SE doubles the sub fee instead of just offering means to support the company for an mount as reward. I bet nobody would complain bout that!

Not entirely sure if its true but heard Yoshi P and the rest of the Ffxiv devs have little to no say on what gets added to mogstation. A whole other team in SE is supposedly responsible and if they demand, a new mount, new outfit, new emote, Ffxiv's team just has to provide it. Not to mention they are also contracted with some companies in China and I think Korea as well to provide new mogstation stuff on a regular basis.

I rather pay hundred cashshop mounts to support the company i love instead of seeing it dying again.

SE wasn't doing that bad either. Only FF was in danger - it's main franchise yes, but not even close to represent the totallity of the company. Meanwhile FF burned, DQ was doing juuuuuuust fine.
And mediocrity? You might not like them, but both XIII and XV are great RPGs on their own, more than worthy of their name.

They basically murdered the Deus EX franchise, well they did actually. And if you think XV did well...nobody can help you anymore.

Because is an emblematic Summon and Raid Boss that should be rewarded by either it's own raid or related activities to it's lore setting: Like Rival Wings.
