Why is the Cruise Chaser mount from the Mogstation?

The sooner some of you accept this is a necessary evil the better you will feel. You wanting the mount is the reason why it has value on the mog station. They already told you the mog station profits goes back into the game, and makes the game better for us all. Are you saying yoshi p is lying about it? Either way, games are costly to make and maintain, and mmo prices are staying the same while it costing more and more to fund and maintain the game itself.


Heck we pay more for phone services and other stupid things, and we get far less content, and requires far less work to maintain that, than to maintain a mmo. So if keeping the price the same, and putting up with a cash shop. So be it.

Fact of the matter is, for as much money the mogstation is making and how many new subs we’ve had, we really haven’t seen a huge improvement of things this expansion. Sure we can blame covid but things were already confirmed missing before the pandemic was even a thing and the devs themselves said they were working at 95% efficiency. We aren’t really seeing a valid return of content. Hell, events have become more and more watered down this expansion.Summer event doesn’t even have a jumping puzzle lmao.

Fact of the matter is, for as much money the mogstation is making and how many new subs we’ve had, we really haven’t seen a huge improvement of things this expansion. I am going to blame covid but not for that reasons. Players have way too much free time now, and less options to go out. Like yes players always complain about the lack of content they like, but MMO players are endless in hunger for content and consume it so fast.


If you make the content too easy they complain.

If you make it grindy? They complain.


The simple truth is. Even in this mmos bad day, the content patches they come out with blows the water out of any other mmorpg. If they telling me that this cash shop goes back into the game. I'm going take word for it, because they are killing it with content. Even if you think the content is worse, or lower in quality. That could be lack of ideas, or just breaks needed from team.

And btw, there's people that doesn't wanna pay 2 times the sub on a special mount because it's expansive and stupid, making it outrageous. CC mount could've be in-game on PvP, for example. Rival Wings is a thing, you know? The community tries to revive it each weekend while Square Enix puts this mount for real money (lots of money for a few people btw) on Mog. So much waste... This is the kind of thing that makes us players extremely disappointed.

I mean they really don't need a valid reason. It is a business, and their game. Players who don't like it don't matter. They will keep playing the games, and people who want to buy it will buy it. But if our money is really going towards the game, we should be seeing upgrades of stuff, not seeing things like dungeons and weapons being cut. With this influx of subs, there’s really no excuse for it. We can make up excuses for it, but it’s the fact currently. Again i bring up veteran rewards. They completely dropped that and for what, a shitty excuse that they then literally solved after discontinuing it? For as much effort as they seem to put into the mogstation(and yes i know it’s a separate team but point still stands) and then seeing how much effort they put into in game things like events, its pretty sad. This easily could’ve been implemented as either a mount for the recent gold saucer event or what have you. They saw it as another way to milk money out of the playerbase. Said money might not even being going towards this game as well.

They have plenty of mounts, emotes and glamour to spend MGP on.
They have plenty of rewards for doing ranked PVP and non-ranked glamours and emotes
They have plenty of rewards to spend achievement points on
They have plenty of rewards to earn through content like Boja
Raiders have plenty of mounts available just do the content

A new mount gets added to mog and people act like there's literally nothing to earn in game through the content available.
