Non-Reiic Ninja *sword* glams?

Hello there.

Again, I’m only asking here because you guys don’t seem to have the resources (yet! Icy veins covering you might change that) that WoW has for easily browsing these things, but am I correct in assuming that the only way a ninja goes from daggers to swords is to go after a relic weapon? If not, are there others less obviously available that don’t come from one-time story quests that I’ve likely done as another job? I found some nice daggers to hold me over until I can find swords that fit my look, but I’d really prefer swords!

You could try browsing through https://ffxiv.eorzeacollection.com/ and see if there's anything displayed that meets what you're after. There's filters you can apply to narrow it down by the job.

So I actually did level Ninja to 71 on my main and I remember like you I also wanted essentially dual swords lol, but once I swapped to Samurai midway through Stormblood I never went back and so I wasn't aware of the kinds of weapons they'd added since. My god there's some chunky-ass "daggers" in ShB...

Oop I just looked at the pic and was wrong.
However there are sword ninja weps very similar to this from Seiryu Ex which is a cakewalk unsynced.
