I went into pvp with extremely low expectations and was somehow still disappointed. It feels really strange that you get almost all new abilities for pvp specifically, and that you only have around 1/4 of the abilities as a level 80 in pve. It's also really weird that many spells behave COMPLETELY different in pvp/pve. My damage "rotation" is completely changed (and waaaaaaay simplified). I might as well be a playing a new job. I can't even summon anything as a Summoner lol.

I understand that "PvP isn't the focus of FFXIV and should only be a side activity." That's why (imo) using pvp profiles to attempt to balance/make pvp more accessible, and totally changing how spells function is a very silly idea. Scale lower levels up to 80/tweak numbers if balance is an issue. Don't change an entire classes playstyle and remove all their flavor in an attempt to make pvp more balanced and accessible. I just cant understand why pvp is structured in this way. Everything about pvp seems to contradict itself.
