Unless you are talking about:
-PvP.
-Seasonal Events.
-Any grind for more than one or two jobs.

All those either are timegated or horrific grinds.

Generally speaking. They have grinds for those who want them, it's nothing like WoW where there's always pressure to keep playing lest you fall behind.
