I wish there was a visual cue for the duty finder pop

Specifically, I'd like the FFXIV icon to 'flash' on the bar at the bottom of my windows screen. I do play with the sound on when the game is minimized, but for some reason, I can't seem to hear the duty finder chime - I don't know if it's selective hearing, or the game is too quiet (although all the other effects seem plenty loud, leaving me with very little desire to turn up the volume; if there was a way to adjust JUST the chime volume, that would also help a lot).

I know people say 'Well WoW did XYZ' on here far too often, especially of late... but WoW did do the icon flash, and it worked really, really well (it would also be a nice QOL change for people who are hard of hearing or even deaf, for whom the chime does nothing).

    Just a suggestion.

Currently available workaround: Plug in a controller with vibrating feedback and it will vibrate when the queue pops. Put it on a glass or metal surface and you will never miss a queue again.

Do I need to be in 'controller mode' to make that work?

As an option you can turn off all the sounds but system warning when you alt-tab.

Just verified I was in "mouse mode" and it still made the controller buzz. I do Load up in controller mode though so that might affect it.

    works though.

EDIT: Just in case it matters, Xbox One controller.

This is what I have done for years now.
While in a queue and there's nothing ingame to do atm I alt-tab and do something else.
I hear nothing of the ingame sounds until I hear the queue pop and the ticking of the timer.
Really convenient and a feature I enjoy.

Another advantage that WoW's duty finder has (In addition to the flashing task bar icon) is that the pop sound is a big loud trumpet fanfare that is not easily missed. It can be heard here: https://www.wowhead.com/sound=8960/readycheck

To note. Being deaf, I use the controller as an indicator when I am alt-tabbed. Obviously not for the sound, but for the vibration I will feel. Though I haven't don't much grouping outside of MSQ.
When on a different screen. I leave an arm or hand on the desk near the controller.

Odd note. I have smacked the controller more due to thinking it is a bug cause of the vibration, forgetting to move it away when it indicates something in game.

I normally have KB+M and Cont. Active at once while just keeping the cont. bars hidden.

Not the best feature l, but sofar the cheapest and simplest solution. And have spent enough already on the specific speakers for this for feet, but that just gives me the heebie-jeebies.
