Names of raids and Trials is confusing for new players.

Could we do something about the localization of dungeons and their naming?

I just give an example of Trials

There are several different variants of trials and raids and what they are called, can you recognize their difficulty?

    Götterdämmerung
    Zenit der Götter
    Hard
    Extreme
    Brutal
    Offenbarung
    Entfesselung
    Letzte Läuterung
    Trauma
    Savage
    Episch
    Sadique
    Ultimate
    Fatal
    ...

Not only do a lot of dungeons and items have different names, their localizations are completely random in different languages.

    example:
French Brutal = English Hard = German Götterdämmerung
French Fatal = English Ultimate = German Fatal
French Sadique = English Savage = German Episch

I dont really see the problem, seeing how they're sorted in three categories in the dutfinder? Even if the flavourfull names arent always clear in regards to the difficulty, the categories they're put in is consistent.

You should probably take this into the german forum in the first place (and potentially even under the "Lokalierung"-category in the first place) - you're quoting the german names, so I assume you dont have an issue with the english ones in the first place? Which would be understandable, seeing how they're far more consistent.

So: add an option to classify difficulties by words or stars (like crafting)

hm yeah its fine when you only consider your own language, but the servers are multi language, meaning english, german and french all on the same server.
Someone in the NN was askin where to get a specific item and if he needed to do Ifrit on Brutal difficulty to get it, everyone was confused until we found out "brutal" is french for the english "hard" version, which is "Götterdämmerung (dawn of gods)" in german.

The problem is the incosistency in different languages. why cant "Hard" be called "hard" in all languages, i mean i like the german names because i don't consider the hard versions of fights hard at all :P

English "Hard" = German "Schwer" = French "Difficle" (for example)

Using the auto-translate feature is probably more helpful in cases like this one (communications between different languages) than changing the names.

You wont be translate it in a way that is "the same" in every language in the first place - your own example shows that. You picked "hard" as the english word, but translated it as "schwer" into german - while "hart" would be, in the context of the game difficulty, just as valid. Or the other way around: you could have picked "difficult" as the english word.

Using the auto-translate feature probably avoids more confusion than trying to get the names closer together. That way everyone gets excatly the name for the duty in question, no missunderstandings or interpretations needed.

Really, they should just relabel the "Normal" trials to something else and relabel "Hard" as "normal". There hasn't been a 4 person trial since ARR (rathalos EX aside).
