Quest to start Red Mage job missing

I raised this in game and via the support site but they both directed me here.

Steps:
1. Go to area and coordinates
2. NPC is missing even though I meet the prerequisites of:

- owning Stormblood

- having a DoM class at Level 50

- finished the MSQ "The Ultimate Weapon"

The quest NPC, Distraught Lass, that starts the Red Mage job is missing for me. She is meant to be at Ul'dah - Steps of Thal - Sapphire Avenue Exchange (x: 14.1,y:11.7 or x:14.2,y:11.8) but she is not there at all.

I have checked Mogstation and I have a licence for Stormblood and my BLM Class is level 50 so I meet the pre-reqs for it.

I am returning to the game after 3 years away so I may have missed something however I cannot find anything online about why this might be happening.

Have you finished the MSQ "The Ultimate Weapon"? That is the other requirement to unlock Red Mage.

Yes I have already completed the MSQ "The Ultimate Weapon", forgot to mention that in my first post I have included a screenshot of the Journal > Complete section below. Thanks anyway Adeacia

Hopefully I don't have to go and do The Ultimate Weapon a second time Doubt that would fix it anyway haha

You actually already did that quest. You already unlocked Red Mage back in 2017.

Just need to open the Armory Chest and change weapon or buy one for Red Mage if you lost it.

Have you finished the MSQ "The Ultimate Weapon"? That is the other requirement to unlock Red Mage.

You don't need to beat The Ultimate Weapon to access the expansion jobs. You just need a job (any job, not specifically DoM) at the right level to accept the quest.
