For a game with tons of invisible walls...why are some of them death will wipe?

I really wish the developers would sort out the ridiculous first timers trap that this game has, make it clear for christ sake for if you can actually fall down a cliff or what, it's bad enough that the open world is almost a 50/50 on if you can drop down or not, but then some boss fights you manage to get cliffed and you're dead until the end of the fight or a wipe, with absolutelly no indication you can drop off, what's with the horrible inconsistency?

If you fall, you fall, you learn where you can or can't and won't make that mistake again.
    Nothing horrible at all.

It's easy if you just assume all edges will not have an invisible wall. Just don't walk off them, and you'll be fine.

Yes, this is also one thing that really annoys me. You mighty mighty Nidhogg-/Ascian-/Primae-Slayer ... could do one step wrong and fall into the one meter deep abyss. It is better when we protect you from yourself and build a invisble wall so you have to walk around this invisible wall.

But it is also expansion dependent. ARR has way more invisible walls than the later expansions.

    Cheers
