Could PVP gear be added to the Gold Saucer prize exchange?

I'd rather see items that are completely new added to the MGP vendors instead of inferior quality versions of items that can already be readily obtainable elsewhere.

That aside, the community has a habit of identifying the most efficient and quickest means of acquiring something so even if a particular item is added across multiple different currency vendors then whichever is the swiftest will be what is typically embraced. Which, in turn, risks a negative impact on queue times for the associated content in question.

PvP already struggles to get matches happening outside daily reset/prime time hours so I dont think its good to split even more players away from the content. If you make it so that everything can be obtained by doing any other content that will just lead to the whole community just finding out what is the most efficient content to do and people will just funnel into doing that while rest of the game will be barren and empty.

Edit to be clear: I am talking about undyeable level 1 versions of the current PVP gear, similar to the approach taken for the Garo sets in the past. PVP gear would retain its value by being dyeable.

It would give MGP a lot more value for me personally. When the Makai gear was available, building up a stash of MGP felt like it was storing glamour in advance, with such a big range of things to buy. Now there's such a small amount and I've already bought anything that was interesting.

I hope you do understand that those PvP gear is the reward for you to participating in PvP content.

Was it "about to be over" for all of Stormblood? Because that's when I started played, and for a long time I only ever knew the Makai sets as Gold Saucer prizes. I'm pretty sure they were there from the start.

(And again, judging by the complaints over the Regalia, a lot of people see that amount of MGP that has to be worked for quite hard – not to mention the people in this very thread saying it's easier to acquire wolf marks than MGP.)

In this theme park MMO, every rewarded item has their own target audience.
If you want dyable teir gear, you need to go participate in Eden Savage.
If you want gear from Hunting Mark, you need to go to participate in Hunting.
They should not be inter changeable.
If it is the PvP gear you want, you earn it by participating PvP.
That is all.
