At Coerthas Western Highlands but nobody gave me aether compass! Please Help!!

My Xerneas Legendary character who recently got into Heavensward NEVER received an aether compass going into Coerthas Western Highlands!

The solo fight in Coerthas Western Highlands is my next task but I NEVER got an Aether Compass!

I Googled the problem but ONLY results pertaining to people throwing theirs away or they jumped and never got one showed. There is absolutely nothing regarding not getting one to begin with going through the game normally!!

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

The quest to get the aether compass I am pretty sure isnt in Western Highlands. It is in Ishgard. It is the same quest that you get the Black Chocobo. You have to get past the first initial quests in Western Highlands and Sea of Clouds first before receiving the aether compass. Hope this helps.

NEVER received an aether compass going into Coerthas Western Highlands!

Because you don't get the compass going into Coerthas West Highlands.

You go into CWH for a bit, then 7 quests later the MSQ takes you to Sea of Clouds then 7 quests after that you'll go back to Foundation and that's when you unlock aether currants/get the compass.

Basically just do more MSQ. If you're still convinced you've done enough, then please tell us what main scenario quest you are on.
