Hack programs, dev irresponsibility with housing, devs not listening, players WALLED

Because of the high volume of demand, frustration and anger among the player base left without housing- the demo timer should be reset to 15 consecutive days not logging in, because letting us keep $10-$15 bucks in our pockets by giving us one month of not subbing +15 days of no login before getting a warning email is hardly a good gesture to anyone, to me it still simply comes down to $10-$15 of sub-time, get rid of it. May as well make us pay for a monthly sub if we want a house, not even kidding.(I prefer this) EDIT: And I've lost a Large AND a Medium to the demo timer.

Or make the demo timer a charming 2-3 months and then get rid of the warning email system and just demo the house at 60 or 90 days, period, a 2-3 month timer is warning enough at that point I'd say, if you can't pay a sub for important RL reasons which should be the only considerable reason you decide to let people keep a house in this market beyond 30 days of no login, then we'd actually have time to dig ourselves out of whatever debt we're in IRL that we actually can't pay $10-$15 bucks for a subscription.

DELETE the system "THIS HOUSE IS NOT READY FOR SALE!" because it's just encouraging autoclicker programs and the general playerbase' knowledge on how to use them- HOW has the Dev Team overlooked this when deciding they're going to make us watch and wait for a random timer on an empty plot!???? Ugh, why would you want that for your playerbase, hate to say it but it's almost sick.

If none of this is appealing then start investigating EVERY housing sale for autoclicker programs from now on and start handing out bans and take away the house, and the gil used in the transaction, if you're not already(I'm sure you are, just not often enough) use a program that can detect for the precise and consistent clicks that a hack program uses, which is highly detectable compared to a humans fingerpresses on a button, and if they're detected, ban the players account.

This is dev RESPONSIBLITY for both players and for SE's monetary gain/loss due to misuse of resources. Are you going to keep spending $$$ ignoring it and adding new wards once every year or two? How much does that cost? Are you going to develop instanced housing like it's been asked for for the past 3 years????? Do this more efficiently Devs, seriously, this is really disappointing.

I understand you made this post in frustrations but 15 days? That's hardly being realistic to those who only can play say on weekends, and god forbid if they forgets to visit their house on one weekend. Poof!

Regards the demolition and the notification, I'd rather seeing them adding a popup window and/or mogmail to let you know the status. Using outside email clients to handle that automation is fine when it works but there is countless stories around this forum and reddit where it either fell into spam filters or didn't arrive at all - or at the very least, combine it with current email system.

imo the demo timer is just fine as it is and we shouldn't seek out to punish players who own houses, rather look at how we can solve the supply issue, make changes to apartments in that way maybe some small house owners would consider switching.

I can say for myself, while I have a large and is among a minority, I want the big space to decorate (one of my favorite things to do in this game), gardening slots (1 plot on smalls isn't going do anything for me) and frankly, having something not everyone has is a nice feeling (not trying to be a ass here).

I think this will be pretty hard to detect. For instance, say you're using something somewhat modern kb, with macroble buttons. How will the game tell if I set up a macro to mimic the purchace inputs "0 0 0 2 0" or whatever it is, I can't remember. Solve the root issue rather than going after the players adapting to the situation. Not saying we shouldn't ban bots, cause we should but I don't think most people are using bots per se rather than using macroble buttons on their kb and such, and ofc there is those who are clicking legit.

I don't know if you were around (but seeing your reg date i will assume you were) but before we had the timer situation (thank you person should not be named for that suggestion), we had a flipping situation where you had to buy the "right" to get a plot for pretty insane amounts on some servers. I remember for instance I was offered 50M to let go of my first small plot in the mist years ago that I declined.

So while I'm a big opponent to the invisible timer system, i'm sure I don't want that black market back into the game, encourage RMT etc.
An acceptable comprimize i said for years is having the timer visible or visible to a time window, exameple the house will go up for sale within 1 or 2 hours.
But now we're getting a (i think) real terrible rng lottery system where while you won't have to camp to get the plot you get to pay a undisclosed fee to enter a lottery with 100+ people where i'm assuming bots going to add their enteries too since there is a market for housing relocations.

People are praising the lottery system but i think these people will be sorry in 9 (guestimate) months from now when we have the system in the game.

People cried and the devs will react. But as the person above me said, that lottery system isn't gonna be the amazing 'everyone has equal chance' thing lots of people wish for ^^

Supply is the problem, not a few crazies camping a placard 24/7 ^^

Anyway, relax and let em handle it, we'll see how it's going to go ^^

Stop blaming/punishing the players, blame the creators.

Everyone equal and an army of RMT bots getting the requirement to get a house.... then they all pop into the lottery..... then maybe 1 actual player out of 10 gets a house if they are lucky... the rest will turn into 1 person FC's that desperate people would buy, they should instead of a lottery, only give people 3 clicks per plot per day instead, that would get people to go else and do stuff as well...and return to try and get the plot if the timer is off, or not if someone else got it.

It would alone flush all the botting out, and make it difficult for RMT Bots to gain a ground.

If an army of rmt bots getting into the lottery is a concern wouldn't the same hold true for a 3 click a day system?

Congratulations. You have now encouraged everyone to simply AFK in their house, with the HUD opened/retainer bell clicked to prevent their house from being demo'd.

Punishing players because they aren't logging in every other week only goes to highlight how embarrassingly bad the housing system is in this game. Blame the devs for stubbornly clinging to a system that hasn't worked for half a decade now. When games with half the budget of SE can figure it out...
