Cannot change Character name

I purchased a character name change earlier today. Everytime I try and change the character name, it says "A name change is required to log in with this character." even though I am trying to change the name.

This is preventing me from logging on to the character.

I bought a fantasia and am having issues too, got no edit option.

Did you find the fantasia potion in the mailbox and then consume the potion? I had to do this earlier, then I had the options in the menu.

Yep, unequipped and everything etc.

It says it can't retrieve my character data on login too tho I think the servers are overloaded :/.

Mine's just gone through. Keep persevering. I made another character on another world, then suddenly it worked...maybe just a coincidence.
