FPS Problems

I'm not sure why or when this happened but suddenly I've been getting terrible FPS. I've barely been able to push 70FPS at maximum or standard and I absolutely struggle when there's multiple players on screen. The thing is, there should be no justifiable reason why I have bad FPS since I have a pretty strong system for a game like this. I've played at 100+ FPS before on older rigs so I'm no sure why this has recently become a problem. I should note I don't have any issues with other games I play, it's literally only FFXIV that seems to struggle with FPS issues.
Specs:
OS - Windows 10 64x
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 3900x 3.8GHz
RAM - 32GB
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

After turning all my settings off and overclocking my GPU I'm pulling 90 FPS but I shouldn't have to put my game on the bare minimum and crank up my GPU for this to happen with my rig. I should be in the 150+ range after doing that, not barely breaking past 90. Something is wrong.

that article is months old and says the fix has already been rolled out.

Barely break past 70fps in LISA LOMASA. So I don't know what do you expect unless you're on 1080p.

doesn't matter which i pick. 1440 I obviously get less frames but I did most of my testing on 1080 below and still suffered the FPS problems.

that article is months old and says the fix has already been rolled out.

Double check on your computer that the updates have been disabled by Microsoft.

Next, check thermos on the GPU, CPU, and MB chip-sets, while stressed, to make sure something isn't getting too hot and is throttling.

It's also been remarked on that the fix didn't fix much for many affected. General rollout on the non hotfix version is later this month iirc.

With max settings at 2560x1440 on an R5 5600X and GTX 1080FE I get over 90 fps in Limsa during high times, close to 200fps in graphically light areas (should I disable my framerate limiter, which I typically do not) OP should be seeing waaay higher frame rates than they are. So, it seems, should you.
