    House Demolished in less than a month

    Date & Time: Just logged in and discovered it 11/6/21

    World name: Coeurl
    Character name: Eragon Firesong

    In-game time:
    Area and coordinates:
    Housing: Lavender Beds, Ward 15, plot 39
    According to my mogstation I last visited my house on Oct 4th, which is way within the 45 day window. I visit my house EVERY TIME I log in. I log in and find not only my plot taken, but all my stuff is absolutely gone. Not a trace of my stuff, or even monitary compensation for my house or belongings. I want my house and my stuff back damn it!

    question: when you say "visit", did you just run around in the yard, or did you actually go into the house and interact with something? Because if you didn't that's why your house got demolished.

    also were you the owner or a tenant? tenants cannot reset the demo timer. if you visited it on an alt that doesn't count either.

    in addition you should have gotten an e-mail stating your house was close to being demolished as well. check your junk/spam/promotions folders for them.

    You can get back some gil and your items if you visit the housing caretaker within 35 days.

    I have had this house since they released that ward, I know the difference between visiting and and going in the yard thank you very flipping much. I am the owner, as I said, I have owned it for a very very very long time so I know the damn difference! It was less than a month so it shouldnt have even been flagged for it in general!

    As far as I know, you need to have the owner character inside the house to reset the timer.

    Correct.
    It is also very helpful to interact with something inside of the house, like summon a retainer or purchase/sell something with a housing merchant NPC.
