Protesting current housing system!!!!!!

I'm sorry but that would alienate so many players who wouldn't be able to afford a premium subscription for something that should be free and available for everyone.
While I agree the main issue is server costs and memory I don't think enable a premium subscription aimed at people who can afford it is the 'best solution'. Best I would say it a overhaul of the poorly designed system.

If they were able to overhaul the house system so it will be done already. Maybe the house system is part of the game engine so if they have to rebuild the house system then first they have to rebuild the game engine in other words to rebuild the entire game.

I hope in future to see improvements in the house system so everyone will be able to experience housing. At the moment is just an advert on the internet promising house sytem.

The lottery doesn't solve a problem. With a lottery, so lucky one can have houses but not all players. I hope it makes sense to you. Otherwise, you don't need a lottery.

iirc on last live letter there was a question regarding housing and i took away from yoshida answer that housing is pretty low priority on their backlog and seems current system is working as intended.
sadly I can't find the exact quote but something along those lines.

6.1 basically when Ishgard housing gets available.

And i'm expecting it be pretty shit and we'll see more complaints than currently when people have to camp at the click board.
