Good to know, didn't know it was using crossover. thanks for the info.FWIW, the controller issue is likely an issue with Crossover (the system that wraps the Windows client to run on macOS); Codeweavers—the folks who write Crossover—just released Crossover v21 last month, and it included a number of fixes specifically relating to Xbox Elite Series 2, Xbox Series X, and Sony DualSense controllers. (Major fixes to Bluetooth connectivity issues, and minor ones to input mapping.)
So, hopefully the problem will go away whenever FFXIV bundles an update using the newer Crossover.
This makes sense, hope they do it/implement this soon.
Patch 6.08 just dropped, and the issue is still present with my Xbox Series X controller. I've been using the Xbox One controller no problem though.FWIW, the controller issue is likely an issue with Crossover (the system that wraps the Windows client to run on macOS); Codeweavers—the folks who write Crossover—just released Crossover v21 last month, and it included a number of fixes specifically relating to Xbox Elite Series 2, Xbox Series X, and Sony DualSense controllers. Using a Macbook Pro M1 Max w/ macOS 12.1.

OS: Monterrey 12.1
controller: Nintendo Switch (bluetooth) - detected by macOS fine, FFXIV doesn't see it
controller: Nintendo Switch (wired) - detects by macOS and FFXIV as an Xbox 360 controller, works intermittently (occasionally vanishes and the whole system - not just FFXIV - needs to be rebooted)
controller: Logitech F310 - detected by macOS and FFXIV, but the joysticks do not respond, not even to calibration attempts. all other buttons function, but device is unusable without the joysticks.
