I wouldn't say Iscah is spreading misinformation. The events you mentioned were collabs, not seasonal events. It's a different case. Seasonal events (like the Moonfire Faire discussed here), as Iscah mentioned, never return with the same prizes (especially the ones you get from the quests themselves). Those are put on the store. The same can happen to collabs' prizes. Once they put the rewards on the Mogstation, they'll never return.

And I would draw a distinction between repeating an event (as for FFXV and Yo-kai) and making glamour from a past event available during a current event.

Also, if I am in fact mistaken and there are occasional exceptions, spreading "misinformation" that it never happens is not a particularly dangerous thing to misinform people of, because the only consequence is that they can be pleasantly surprised if it happens after all.

Not gonna lie, I was also disappointed to see that we weren't getting any glamours for this event. I love glamour, so new outfits are the thing I look forward to the most with any new content (event or not). I just hope we get nice outfits for other events in the future. I agree that the rewards for events lately have been a bit lacking, but hopefully this will change soon.

Despite many failings, Japan is actually quite strict on those that can be depicted as underaged and/or being engaged in certain situations. The devs have been on point to give anything that could be misunderstood a very wide berth. A one piece swimwear that could even be potentially misused would easily be on their list.

I mean, you could say the same about any event, until it suddenly doesn’t. Starlight (Christmas) for many years offered glamours..until it didn’t. Fun fact, the first time it didn’t offer glamours was also a bear mount.

It could function the same as things do now. It would just be 2 pieces that, when put together, look like one. Such combinations are already made by random pieces.

There are also pieces of gear that exist which override certain slots but are used for glamour all the same. So yeah, it could work just fine. It already does.

All of those are body model swaps and do not show the character's skin, accessories or modify based on breast size. A one-piece swimsuit would show skin and accessories, interact with the breast slider, while also interacting with the feet and hand slots.

I suspect the lack of 1 piece swimwear is more in line with anti-pedophilia than it is actual engine limitations. SE has always tried not to depict their characters as children.

If anti-pedophilia was the reason for no one-pieces the bikinis would have been a more serious problem. It is just easier to design a set from the start as 2 pieces than it is to design a one-piece and figure out how to make it look right as two pieces. They also try and maintain an equal number of pieces for both male and female characters which is why guys tend to end up with rather weird tops for rather normal men's swimsuits.

Same reason the school uniform set we can buy is more high-school-esque and the skirt has shorts under the skirt.

The shorts under the skirt are more likely due to the school uniform sets being unisex.
