Did you even read my post? I wasn't telling you to ignore useless spells at all. What I *said* was, if you set aside things like potions and LB because those are things all classes have in common, and only look at the differences between jobs, White Mage has SIX fewer abilities than Astro does. Meaning your complaining about WHM being "too full" is ridiculous, because nearly all classes have far more abilities than WHM does. Add on top of that the fact that WHM has more useless abilities than AST does, and that gap widens even further.
You don't ignore those abilities because they're "a DPS loss". You ignore them because in nearly all content they're literally useless. Fluid Aura isn't going to do anything for you in savage content. It's not going to do anything for you in dungeons. It's not going to do anything for you in the field. In FATEs. In trials. It may do something for you if you're soloing Palace or Eureka. I've figured out what Fluid Aura does. It causes a debuff that breaks early if you do anything else to your target that lasts approximately the same amount of time it would take to kill the thing you're casting it on anyway. That doesn't require 4D chess to determine its use. It's just useless in most content. End of story. I'd love if they made it useful. Like it was in Heavensward.
You ignore half of your spells because they're directly inferior to your other spells in every single situation apart from soloing incredibly specific, difficult content. My White Mage hotbars have literally everything you're complaining about on them. Repose is there, as is Fluid Aura. As are stat potions, mana potions, echo drops, and the whole nine yards. They're in out-of-the-way spots I can click on if I really need them instead of convenient slots, but they're there. My hotbars still have a bunch of emotes, deleted skills, and random mounts on them. Because they're near-empty. AND several of the spells are worthless on top of that. White Mage in no way has "too many abilities".
