Black screen on launch, MacOS

Everytime I try to launch the game I get a black screen. I've tried restoring to system defaults, editing the boot file, and reinstalling. None of them worked.

My mac is running Monterey with a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 and Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB.

Thank you for contacting the FINAL FANTASY XIV Technical Support forums. In regards to your concern, this happens to be a known issue with the Monterey version of the iOS operating system and the game. This plans to be resolved by the end of December as stated in this official post:

In the meantime, we advise reverting your operating system back to a previous version to see if that may correct the problem.
