Endwalker digital, but started on physical

Hello, sorry I’m not sure where to ask this.

With Endwalker now going digital only I have a question on how this will effect how I play on PS4. See, I have the game via a physical PS4 collector’s addition. How do I then start playing Endwalker? (For reference, I preordered the standard edition of Endwalker).

Endwalker is not going to be released until November. If you have pre-ordered then you will have been sent a pre-order code that you can redeem on the Mog Station. When the actual release happens you will be sent another code to register the expansion itself.

To clarify - don't worry
As long as you have registered the pre-order you have several days of grace to register the actual game code from the release date to deal with any order issues with supper should they not automatically send out codes to all orders digital or otherwise.

To further clarify...
If in doubt - raise a ticket with support so you can get an answer from them directly.

So for example, when Endwalker starts, will there be a separate game launcher or will it be the same?

There isn't a separate launcher depending on your current expansion level.
