(SPOILERS!!!) Who are some characters you would like to see more in the MSQ?

So, I LOVED Shadowbringers, but one gripe I had with it, was that everyone felt a little TOO serious at times. Thancred felt like a major buzzkill, and I it was the first time I'd TRULY felt Minfilia's absence. There's still a tiny, tiny spark of hope that maybe we might see her again sometime, although I really miss her old, more cheerful voice-actor (also, Kan-E-Senna sounds a little too "normal", not as "wise, ethereal" as her OG voice).

Regardless! The single biggest and greatest surprise was seeing G'raha Tia joining the ranks of the Scions! I freaking LOVE that guy! He's more upbeat, smart enough that he still regularly contributes to the story, and even just VISUALLY, he's literally the only Scion that doesn't have white hair now.

Real talk? I'm honestly getting a LITTLE bored with "the twins". I still like them, mind you, but I feel it's been a bit overkill. I also don't necessarily support Alphi being the de facto LEADER of the Scions; he's done a lot and proven himself trustworthy, but it's still weird to have other Scions actively looking to HIM for guidance (rare, but I've noticed). Once Endwalker concludes -- however that might be -- I wouldn't mind getting a bit of a break from them, maybe until the following expansion (hey, maybe they could even return having finally aged a bit, with more significant makeovers).

Personally? I would *LOVE* to see more of the character Pipin. He's obviously serving as Nanamo's right hand these days, but he just seems like he would be a cool character to interact with more. Similarly, while Stormblood was my least favorite expansion overall, it DID introduce a lot of my favorite characters; Hien was awesome, so was Gosetsu, I'd love seeing more of the Au Ra and particularly the Xaela tribes, Yugiri was also a pleasant character to jibe with. And while it took some time getting used to the name change, I really like Lyse as well.

I could definitely use a little more humor -- or at least sarcasm -- in the group, IMO. Just my two cents.

Any characters in particular that you guys would love to go adventuring with for a while?

more lyse with hopefully more character development and I guess the same could be true for hien as well, since they are more or less just genderswaps for each other
more yugiri, more fordola, more secondary scions and maybe let old class teachers have more cameo's like holyfist had in the monk questline

I don't really want him to get the plot armor revival but Emet, via some non-plot armor route (like one suggestion was PTSD magic, left over creation magic, Cloud mako sort of incident).

Raubahn. I would like to see the corruption of Ul'dah go big, I really liked that section of the plot.. kind of hoped it was longer and even bumpier ride (but that's not a complaint, I meant I liked it). One thought was Sil'dih coming back to give Ul'dah some late karma (zombies, in other threads suggested perhaps all the rot and despair of zombies has created an undead primal that is haunting and cursing Ul'dah, zombies leaking out of the city, and hte players having to Dante Inferno crawl through the dead city, and at the end with content related to it a reconstruction of the city to make a wonderful magical water inspired city).

Don't give Y'shtola anymore plot armor, if she isn't meant to die then just.. don't.. do that life stream thing /again/.

Make Taru a Reaper Trust member! She tries so hard and has actively expressed an interest in combat classes, I just want to see her finally thrive in one that makes sense for her.

I like the Scions still (aside from their too homogeneous designs) but, yeah, I can see where people are coming from. One way or another it sounds like they'll get their wish post-Endwalker.

I wish Ysayle had lived and (maybe) joined the Scions, but no way around that so yeah... The B-tier Scions are not the deepest characters around but they're charming, I'd like to see them fleshed out more. Some of them have been around from the very beginning, which is nuts... For a while I really wanted them to do something with Unukalhai, I really liked him (and his backstory) in the Warring Triad storyline, so I'm glad they finally did! Which segues nicely into I hope they do more with the characters on the First, it feels to me like they're building up to something with the Role and Void quests. Hopefully Ryne and Gaia will join in.

I would also love to see more Au Ra characters, OP, especially the less marketable males. Femroes that aren't white as snow and use that exact same face would be nice to see more of, too.

The Boulder brothers, Krile, Riol.......some of the secondary Scions, is what I'm saying. Give the Archons a vacation for an expansion and let us get to know some of the others.

Let's go back to the First for a bit to check on Ryne and Gaia. They kept talking about some kind of upcoming festival in the Crystarium, let's go see it. Could be fun to see Feo Ul again, too.

I'm hoping Endwalker will continue with Alpha's random cameos throughout the world.

Obligatory for me: Ryne, Gaia, and Minfilia (not dead).

But aside from that, I'd like to see more of the secondary Scions. They've basically been background characters since shortly after their introduction, and it's so easy to forget they exist. Kinda like Arenvald was up until he popped back into the frame for Stormblood.

I'd like to see more of Hien, Magnai and Daidukul. I'd also like to see the writers fix the situation with Varis and Regula. Both deserved more time screentime and such can, at the very least, be accomplished by showing some Echo vision flashbacks to flesh out their relationship.

Equally, I'd like to see more of Emet-Selch, Lahabrea and Elidibus.

I would like to see Midgarsormr do more again.
Him basically just following us around by bring in out inventory is cool and all, but I'm hoping with the dragons coming back into the forefront of the story that the narrative will bring him back into the fold.

Though really if they do more with the dragons in general I'll be happy ~
