Sub localisation in Latin America

Hi! It's my first time posting here and I'd like to ask if there's any plans for putting regional prices in Latin America. Sub is getting more expensive due to dollar price and the competition has already adapt its prices to our countries but ofc I like FF more than the others (which I have 0 interest)

I'm sure it's not the first time this is asked but I think it's important saying this so the team can take note.

Btw, I'm from Argentina and despite FFXIV localised prices on Steam are incredible it's difficult paying 13USD for a monthly sub. I know some ppl say "it costs the same as BigMac" but in my country we pay way less for that BigMac, and I think adapting prices will help a lot!

Umm, the dollar is currently falling. If anything it should be slightly cheaper. It has to do with the Fed printing a lot of money lately and inflation happening. But cheaper is always better, until they start cutting corners and make a worse game. So its a give and take.

I don't think they'll do a worse game due to dollar falling, I mean even with no regional prices I've spent my money in the mog store buying glams, minions and that stuff, a lot of people buy items in the FFXIV store and they get lot of revenue from that. Now if we include the arrival of new players and ton of them buying the game definetly they'll have no problems related with the dollar value falling ^^
I posted this since my case it's not the same for everyone, I can pay the game when I don't have exams but the sub is more expensive than the internet fee and lot of ppl here works and study at the same time, so it's reasonable they don't want to pay something they won't use more than 10 hours per month. Also regional sub helped a lot in other MMOs or even Steam, and they got more incomes due to that.

Just accept we have to adjust to USD.

I'm not quite sure if thats what you're refering to - so forgive me if I missunderstand! - but we used to have regional prices for at least barzil and russia - until they changed it on 2017. (Here is an old lodestone post refering to this: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...6c31a26087c79f)

Given that they used to have regional prices and decided not to have them anymore, I thinkt its very unlikely that they're going back to offering them again.

Yes, we had regional sub pricing when Steam adapted its prices but Square changed them to USD again At least if you're from Russia or Brazil you can get them paying the sub with Steam Auto-renewal
