Personally I've watched quite a lot of Asmon's streams since he started playing FFXIV and I legitimately do not get why so many loathe the guy. I'll agree the streaming persona can get a little tiring to endure, but I've not seen anything that warrants hatred directed at him. Must admit it's nice to see him stream as just.. well, himself on his secondary Twitch account though, it gives a clear contrast between when his persona is 'on' and when it's 'off'.
The irony of Activision/Blizzard being offended... assuming the allegations should come to fruition.

The bold is what sold me on who he is. His Asmon moniker is nothing more than entertainment.
