Let's get right into it. 15 Glamour plates simply is not enough. There are tons of armor and weapon combinations that no doubt someone somewhere worked either tirelessly to create and/or equally to acquire in game.
I currently only play 1 class, Dark Knight, and with that one class alone I have filled every single plate with a unique glam of my character. I'm sure you all understand how long it can take to complete a glam, especially if it requires you to continuously grind content using party finder (if you know, you know). These armor sets are used to match the "look" of my friends when we go into instances, or even to capture my mood for the day. Glamour really makes the experience, and at this point I somewhat feel like a collector that has run out of shelf space. And with even more content and items coming out in the upcoming months with the release of Endwalker, I can't help but lament the idea of having to remove glamours from these plates to make space for new ones. A lot of us have worked hard to acquire a lot of these items, armor pieces, etc. in order to customize our character to what fits our "fashion fantasy" - currently there aren't even enough Glamour Plates (15) for each DoW/DoM class available (18)
Though I am not entirely sure the challenges it may create on a developers end to increase the amount of glamour plates provided, I do believe there is a big demand in the community for a significant increase in the number or plates available.
1. Add Glamour Plates as rewards for progressing MSQ
2. Add Glamour Plates as rewards for achievements*
3. Add an event in the Golden Saucer with the rewards being additional Glamour Plates
4. Add "Additional Glamour Plates" as a purchasable item in the MogStation (Ex: $5 for 2 plates, $10 for 5 plates. $30 for 25 plates)
This all creates avenues in which the player can engage with the game/community or just help support the game's growth financially.
Let's also bring into light that Glamour Dressers are currently not accessible inside personal or free company homes.
This is also a glaring issue, as it's already hard enough to acquire a plot of land, and the amount of time and gil spent on making the house look nice, the amount of gil to actually purchase a private chamber, and I can't even change my clothes in there. Unfortunately, I have to travel to a foreign city to go to a hotel just to change my clothes. Please allow me to put a Glamour Dresser in my private chamber so I can try on all my legendary outfits within the comfort of my own home
Thank you to the devs for listening to the community, you've truly made an unmatchable experience for the players investing in your game and for that I feel I cannot thank you enough.
Best Regards,
The Dark Knight of Legend
