    Challenge Log (Battles) Questions

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, let me know if there is a better place to ask questions.

My challenge log for Battles has for me to complete 3 Wondrous Tails. I've looked up those but I couldn't find for sure when you can open those up. Do you have to have finished ARR and started the expansion to open those up?

Also, is each challenge on that Battles page separate and it doesn't make a difference if you don't do them all or do you get something extra if you have done them all?

    Thanks!

Wondrous tails was something that was introduced at the end of heavensward, you’ll most likely need to be able to access idyllshire before you can get access to wondrous tales.

As for your other question, there are some meta log challenges that require completion of other challenges that rewards varying amounts of gil. In general most challenges will reward you with exp, some others can reward gil, mgp, companion exp, elemental exp for eureka. It lists the rewards under the challenge itself.

The challenges reset weekly on tuesdays as well so no need to worry about completing them all. They’re really just a bonus for things you can do on a weekly basis.

Yeah, Wondrous Tales is a piece of side content that comes out of Idyllshire so youll need to get there first before you can unlock it. A quick peak doesnt mention it being tied to completion of 3.0, but that is possible too. For now you can ignore it. As for the challenge log, all of the entries more or less stand on their own. For the most part you can complete whichever of them you like, in whichever order is convenient, and get your weekly rewards(with the obvious exceptions - for instance you cant kill 100 things with your chocobo if you havent killed 20 of them).

And like Eclipse said, the rewards for doing many of them are in the final tab of the log. The "Complete X Challenges" entries. For those entries the log counts every challenge you completed whether it was battle related, crafting related, gold saucer related, or whatever else. It counts them all, and you get the gil rewards every time you reach the next threshold.
