Random animation freezing, followed by pc freeze

For the third time in the last 2 weeks during full party content the following happened:
My characters animation randomly froze, my attack animations wont come out, my character is set in battle stance and just slides across the floor. Markers become invisible.
At the same time, my voice stops being picked up by discord. When i try to tap out, all my applications stop working and my pc just freezes entirely, forcing a hard reset.
The only pattern im seeing is, that it happened during trials or raids, but only infrequently. I can play for days without problems and then it suddenly happens.

The issue reminds me of what happens during a memory leak, but i dont know exactly what happens.

Is that issue known and if yes, is it still connected to directx11? I dont really want to believe that thats still an issue 5 years later.

PC Specs:
Windows 10
Ryzen 7 5800x
Geforce RTX 2070
16GB 3200Mhz Ram
Game running off an NVME
High details, Resolution of 3440 x 1440(Ultrawide), uncaped framerate

Not necessarily your problem but do not run uncapped frame rates in XIV. It's known to cause various issues. Also very unnecessary in a game of this type and needlessly hard on your system for zero benefit. Cap at monitor refresh rate and see if it helps.

To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Does this issue happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
