    Quick specific questions about fast-farmed ARR era relics

    Hey there!

    I saw a video stating that ARR relics are easily attainable at 80 which sounds wonderful because I'd like to get my ninjaness in swords (as opposed to daggers) asap. I just did the base unlock for the SHB relics as Samurai, and (as y'all know) it turns out I could have done that quest on any job and selected the job to get the actual, first "freebie" relic at the very end. Does the ARR relic unlock work the same way?

    Second question: I also heard that there's a way to throw poetics at the relic unlock now? Is that true and if so what stone-purchasable items does that entail?

    Oh yeah, third question: can the ARR relics be dyed?

    I'm suuuuper new to the whole relic thing, but when I heard there were low hanging ninja swords I got real interested!

    Also any other tips on this front that a less experienced player with a few 80 jobs might use would be really appreciated!

    You cant throw poetics at it until you ulock said steps you need them for. same with GC seals.

    Just follow the quests, and no, its not a freebie or "any job unlock" every relic requires you to be on that job for completion.

    The Trial of the Braves part (the books) is the part that is extremely tedious -_- at least for me. It's the step that makes me stop doing any other ARR class relics once I reach that point. After completing my first ARR relic (WHM), I'm hard pressed to finish any others once I reach the book stage.

    The books are pretty tedious. They would be fine if you could do more than one at once. You can buy poetics items ahead of time to have them for the steps you need, along with the GC items like bombard cores. And if you don't have a crafter, make friends with one, because you have items you'll need that are crafted.

    I just did the full line (including the kettles) on an alt recently and it wasn't too bad anymore even pre-80.
