Best MSQ dungeon encounter

Yesterday I was doing the main story quests and ended up in a normal dungeon. So the tank leads off after saying our hellos. Multi pull cool, bit suddenly no heals. The other DPS and tank wipes and the heal runs to the entrance I am trailing and shooting and finally I go down. Find out our healer is having mouse problems. So we wait a bit, and a bit more. I don't mind because stuff happens. Tank says let's try a pull we do and healer is still having issues. Tank says should we go further, I say I think we need the healer. Healer pipes up and says kick me. We all agree no we can wait a bit for you. What followed was a great conversation about jobs. Being newer to the game I appreciated the input and opinion on different jobs. Healer finally says it isn't happening so we vote and get a new healer finish the dungeon and what a pleasent encounter. I was well that was the best mess I have ever participated in. Patience is a virtue!

Had something very similar happen about a month ago with a healer whose internet went fritz. He was getting visibly (from our perspective) bungied back to be hit by mechanics he'd moved out of a good 6-10 seconds earlier. Healer was feeling really embarassed and asked to be kicked, but we were too busy laughing at how absurd the bungying and corpse-sliding looked and no one wanted to kick him for something outside of his control and which only started after we were a few min into the run. RDM got to learn how to optimize Cure->Aero/Thunder/Impact and we got through it fine despite it.

While I understand the appeal of keeping things tidy and unified, this thread seems to come from a place almost exactly opposite the "Let's Vent" thread... Mess though it may have been, it was the "best mess", after all.

I find these sort of conversations more common when using Party Finder. Instead of being matched with random people, you specify the sort of people you want to join your party and discussion is common to decide the rules or strategy. A lot of the time you get discussions while waiting for eachother to be ready or after the content is done. This even happens when it's something easy.

You can usually get away with a single pull if you only have a tank or a healer but not both, providing they know their job. A tank using stuns and killing one enemy at a time can make a difference for some packs if there is no healer.

Yeah, i post good and bad stories in the other thread. If i think something interesting/unique/weird enough to share happened(and if i can type it up before i forget too many details), i share. Honestly, i think a lot of people have the wrong idea about the TfDF thread. Its worth a skim from time to time. You see people complain about mistakes someone else made, people apologizing for mistakes THEY made, people sharing amazing or nice runs that happened, and any number of other experiences. I know ive learned a few things not to do from reading it.
