Housing Presets in Upcoming Housing Updates

With the introduction of 6.X introducing new updates in regards to new and fairer means of obtaining of new housing plots this post is more guided on the quality of life and add-ons of in-game housing.

It's just a thought but...considering how much time it takes to place and float furniture in this game compared to housing in other MMOs that's a little more streamlined I think it would be a great feature to have (or least introduce the idea) of being able to save player housing designs as presets. There are plenty of FCs (and other communities of the like) that're active that do events for both seasonal and on the regular, which would make it pretty convenient. In hindsight similarly the feature being asked for is similar to how waymakers are saved for combat against bosses we already have.

I'd love to remake my spaces without feeling like "I'll never be able to get it just like this again..."

That would be awesome, especially if SE used something like JSON or XML for the storage format so it would be possible to make preconfigured rooms and distribute them.

Not a half bad idea really, but with the way furniture goes out of bounds when glitched, I'm not sure how well they could implement something like that. Whenever you tried to reinstate it may causes errors.

Though something like saving your interior (walls/floor/lighting) as a pre-set would be great.

Possibly only have the presets affect furnishings within the "box"? Even with presets, players are going to end up making changes to add in new items or move things around. The preset would just remove some of the work on repeating a layout.

I don't think fixture presets would work because we don't have a storage system for those and to be honest, that's already simple enough not to be necessary. At most we're swapping out 10 items (large house).

at least 50% more for all sizes, the amount of housing items keeps growing, but the storage does not.

Holy fuck, this.
They keep adding more and more items that imply they KNOW people like to use the lofts and other platform housing items. The spiral staircase makes that abundantly clear.
And yet to make actual fucking use of said lofts and platforms, you're basically required to bug and glitch the game with a risk that it doesn't sodding work.
It's stupid.
