I don't deserve this penalty.

I'm just here to vent my frustration. But there was a gladiator that was afk on the 2nd floor, and we literally weren't allowed to continue anymore due to it. We vote to dismiss him, but it didn't kick him. He still showed on the map despite his character not actually being there. Furthermore once again we couldn't progress. The only thing left to do is just leave since kicking him isn't working and we can't get him to move with communication.

And now we're stuck with a 30min penalty for whatever reason. Couldn't vote abandon either because it wasn't long enough. Not sure if it was a bug but if you can get away with just afk and making people get punished that's just dumb.

Was this in deep dungeon? If the kick failed that means someone voted no. Unfortunately there are stinkers that play this game too, it’s easier to just leave and do something casual while waiting out the timer.

That's weird, vote dismiss should work even if they're afk/disconnected. Sorry about the penalty, that sucks.

Yeah vote dismiss might not have passed. Did you also try a vote to disband? I would have tried that myself if that were the case... or worst case to avoid it, you could force the system to boot you by not moving or taking any action for long enough (I think)

Sure it's annoying to have to just sit there, but if it worked, you could avoid the longer 30 minute penalty.

If you vote dismiss and he didn't get kicked, the 2 other people voted no, since in 4 man party you only need 2 votes to kick.
If the gladiator was offline, you could still progress through the floors with 3 people. The teleporter will still activate.
If the gladiator was afk and vote dismiss failed, you could have waited 10 minutes for the game to auto boot him.
If after 10 mins he was not autobooted then he was not afk and instead leeching. You can report that, and attempt to vote dismiss again with this evidence to see if one of the other people votes yes.
If the vote still doesn't pass then suspect that the other 2 characters either belong to the AFK gladiator and he is multiboxing, or are his friends, so report them as well. Logout and go do something else for 10 mins till the game boots you, or leave and do some gathering/crafting waiting for the 30 minute penalty.
