Our iconic theme was top tier damage and self sustain through sheer brutality. We never had utility until the tank homogenization became a thing. We had greater health, took more damage, but healed thru our unmatched damage.
-You mentioned Nascent flash. It’s a recycled skill, when we had it already in bloodbath while still base class.
-The potency increase came AFTER they destroyed the class for whatever reason. That is where my comparison to PLD comes from. We got completely dismantled for “balancing” while we watched others gain. What we did get where all skills we had long before the nerfs, that were ripped from us and returned at 70+.
-WAR has never been spoiled and while others begged for us to be nerfed, I remember some asking for raid utility to be comparable to our counter parts.
-Never once did I ask for anyone to be crippled for me to feel godlike. I want to share in the power.
-Love the detail you put into this reply but it does nothing to change the facts. SE tore WAR apart, then when the community complained, they slapped a bandaid on it. You got charts and diagrams…research HW WAR’s kit and tell me what’s really new. You’re break down of what the could be wasn’t bad. It’s pretty much all I’m asking for. True balance that gives each tank something unique (speaking from a personal pov of course).
-Devs at my beck and call tho…really. You have the wrong tank. I’ve been playing since 1.0…us WARs have been quietly enjoying the carnage we brought. I was one of many forming 8 man parties and clearing current EX/Savage with nothing but WARs. There’s videos of it on YouTube to this day. We didn’t start speaking up until the dismantling began in SB. Minus PLDs who do you here complaining about their job? The two tanks clearly being short changed at the moment WAR/DRK. Sure we have a good points, which is why we main them, but that doesn’t mean our jobs haven’t got the short end of the stick.
Ultimately, I’m asking for my job to stop being pulled apart and actually given something meaningful WITHOUT IT BEING SOMETHING RETURNED. I’m happy being the SAM of tanks with two utility tools. That’s an identity. I’m not ok going from the strongest to one of the weakest over night just because. PLD is god…fine. Allow me to Zeus meaning a god in my own right.
