This is true. Not a fan of the last stage, though. I think the entire idea of crystal weapons is kind of ridiculous.

Wait its crystals? I was under the impression that its some techno/fantasy/laser forcefields being projected around the weapon for whatever reason. Looking at their arrangement on bladed weapons I assumed for cutting assistance.
