This will make you turn all skill animations on!

Recently I joined ffxiv but I noticed that the game feels...not as fluid as I would like.

I did a couple of searches online but nothing really helped, so I would simply turn off animations.

I don't know why this isn't spammed and posted everywhere but this is what improved the graphics quality and fluidity for me and literally anyone can do this as well.

Besides all those nonsense "turn this on, turn this off, clear your temporary files folders" bla bla bla this is what you must do:

1. Go to your graphics card driver controller (all graphics card have this even intel laptops).
2. Go to "3D" settings or any menu that lets you add ffxiv application so you can modify few settings.
3. Apply to override application settings to enable morphological anti aliasing.
4. Apply anisotropic filtering to x16.
5. If you can find, select 3D mode to be performance (not quality, not standard).
6. Also power mode must be set to high performance.
7. Ingame you want to go to graphic settings and limit your fps to 45-60 range so you won't have your fans raging while you play. I use a software to lock my fps at 46.

If you have such option then do allow your graphics card to use more power, in my amd settings its called "Power tuning, Power control" i set that at +20%.

If your pc is old and dusty like mine, you can play in full screen with 1600x900 resolution selected but add 70-80% sharpening from your GPU settings.

Or simply play windowed mode with any resolution less than 1920x1080.

Even if you have a high end pc, i recommend to make the morphological and anisotropic changes.

Wow, this is very nice for FPS problems.
