And what do you think I tried doing genius? I tried talking to the GM in the jail when I was told it would be 20 days and have already opened multiple tickets the past 8 hours contesting this.

So you got ticks for fc name + each retainer name + verbal abuse and they all added up. I think punishment is fair, perhaps it will teach you not to do multiple tos violations right after starting the game /shrug

You clearly violated ToS with your FC name and deserve the ban:

I think this is fair. Pretty harsh for a first offense. I think they should at least throw you a bone.

No one should have to explain to you both why Cosby and Klan with a K can be considered offensive.

Also for the record, this was your first punishment, not necessarily your first infraction. There are cases where behavior is reported, logged, but deemed not enough to be actionable. Think like being late to class. The teacher saw you come in late, but let it slide this once. Repeated reports of bad behavior are different.

It is very possible that this was just a straw that broke the camels back.

Hmm. If the punishments are like how SE used to dish them out in FFXI, it would be pretty clear that 20days in jail clearly points that this isn't the first time. It starts off small, and builds up from there.
That is, 20days being a pretty hefty chunck for the first time means that there was more then just the standard...

SE has had pretty solid and clear naming rules for well over two decades, and often take pride in ensuring it is enforced.

How is Cosby Klan harassment?

Willfully playing obtuse to dodge and "play dumb" while already admitting to using inappropriate naming theme and willingly targeting others just to belittle them in your group(s) just strengthens their decision on the punishment given.

So... it is clear that this isn't your first rodeo.
