NEED GM TO FREE ME FROM JAIL

I have been trying for almost a full 24 in game hours to contact and get through to a GM or someone. I am on Aether-Adamantoise. This is my first offense, im a new player and have been confused and trying to contact someone all day. I don't even know what exactly I did except maybe yelling at people for not following raid mechanics

unfortunately, you'll have to wait until a GM finds the keys and chats with you. the moderators here cannot do that, only the in game GM's can

Banned for 20 days for having inappropriately named retainers and an FC named "Cosby Klan". I pay to play this game. This is my first offense as a sprout. I was told there was nothing they could do because the 2 retainers and FC name change caused a pile up of reports and I couldn't be given a lighter punishment and that I wouldn't be given any kind of leniency. I don't want a slap on the wrist. Like. I just want a reasonable punishment for what I did wrong. Force me to change the names and 3-5 day ban. You are taking away 2/3 of my paid subscription for the month for a first offense name violation. The GM I spoke with was not helpful at all. Just repeating copy paste dialog rather than trying to actually talk with me and understand my point of view. Force closed the encounter when I was still trying to talk with them and figure out what I could do to prevent bans in the future. This is complete ass.

You clearly violated ToS with your FC name and deserve the ban:

"With regard to character names, if a phrase equating to harassment is formed within the full name, this is also regarded as harassment. In the case of a group action, all of the members involved will be subject to penalties."

There was really nothing else to discuss or learn from the GM. You chose to name both your retainers and FC offensive names, there really isn't more to it than that other than "don't use offensive names".

Regarding their system, they use a strike system where infractions cause strikes. You accrued multiple strikes in one go. Unfortunate, but that is their policy. This would be like running a red light while also drunk and not wearing your seatbelt. You're not going to just get in trouble for one thing.

I pay to play this game.

For future reference, I want to say I and I believe many many players openly welcome all sorts to this game and encourage you to continue to enjoy your time in the game..but that said, the devs stance has always basically been "We don't really need your money that badly" when it comes to rudeness or inappropriate behavior.

Yes, its not nice, that GMs are not listening until the end. But like you said: you needed to wait really long in the prison. Would he have talked to you more, another guy in the prison had to wait way longer.

Something really caught my eye: you are only a sprout and have so many reports yet? You cannot say its your first offense, when you are piling up all these offenses. You have at least 3 inappropriate ingame names and verbal abuse by yelling at people. I understand why the GM couldn't decrease the punishment.

I am playing for 9 years and mentored so many people. And yes sometimes got into arguments. But I had never the chance to see the jail.
Try to stick to the rules of the community. People do not want to pay to play in a toxic environment. Even if you are paying your subscription, the people you yelled at payed theirs.

I get you are upset but they said general verbal abuse "can" land you in jail. By no means would a reasonable person take that as they knew what you did, they were just trying to offer an explanation with the context you provided in your OP.

Relax man. Also really did you not think Cosby Klan would land you in some form of trouble given everything that happened with him? I mean I get you did it as a joke but come on at the very least accept your punishment with grace.
