How often do you use a Fantasia?

Sadly a bit many, it just sucks because all races are appealing. Hyurs are simple but they get so many nice combos, same with miqo'te, roes etc
Although i did finish 5.0 as a female roe (who ended up being my 2nd longest character before fantasia, took me some months) but overall end up returning to Lalafell (i tried enjoying Plainsfolk but Dunes just look better for the eyes)

But the addiction on changing stuff mostly comes from games that does not make me pay for it, i have never done it in games like Monster Hunter for example but a MMO like XIV is rougher for me :\

I used the free one a couple of years back to give my catboy a surfer tan when the FC I was in moved to Mist but that's it.

Never. I even tossed the free ones because it ain't happening. I made my character right the first time. I can also count on one hand the number of times I've changed my hairstyle.

I've used two in the...five or so...years I've been playing. One to change from my original race and one to make a couple adjustments to the eye and skin color of my final choice, later on.

Once, for a gender swap. I was a catgirl in a catboy body and it took me a bit to realize. Bin the same way since 2.2. Glamour otoh...daily, situationally?

I've used one on my main to change up a setting or two I didn't like from character creation that the barber couldn't change, and I've used one on an alt to change race because I just felt like it and I'm not overly attached to her appearance. So while I have used a couple in total, they've just been the free ones the game already gives you during the MSQ and I don't use them often.

How often do you guys use one or are you completely happy with your character and could never think to change them?

I only ever use them when I have spare cash and want to fix some minor details of my character's.

Though when I made my Hrothgar awhile back, I did use about three Fantasia until settling on the Couril face. Haven't gone back ever since.

Oh, I also did this with my female Roegyden, too! Exactly three Fantasia and now she's a gyshal green headed Lalafell.a I wish I was good at rigging models and doing videos, because I'd have a hoard of Chocobos and Vath in the Dravanian Forelands chasing her! xD

I have a collection of alts rather than using Fantasias, though I don't like the idea of transforming characters into something else.

That said, someone is going to have to step aside for my planned Viera alt once Endwalker releases. Currently debating between it being a female character I don't like much and a male character I'd have to recreate, but he's holding some purchased and Makai glamours that would probably work better on the Viera. I may have to permanently replace the girl and temporarily Fantasia the other just to get some glamour screenshots.

Overall though, once I've made a character I don't really like to change them. If I had a Fantasia available at the start of the game I might have used it for some, but it seemed wasteful to buy one when there was the free one for finishing ARR, and by the time any of them got that far I'd made peace with whatever I didn't like about them in the first place.
