How often do you use a Fantasia?

I've used three since I started in Heavensward. From Au Ra to Viera to Au Ra to Viera again.

Funny enough, I never actually paid for one straight-out. The first one was an old veteran reward, the second was from an Amazon promo, and the third was from the Heavensward Collector's Edition when it was on sale last year.

Still kinda debating going back to Au Ra. Starting to miss my hats.

I've used two: one to turn into my girlfriend for an April Fools joke on our FC, and one to turn back.

I've been playing on and off for about a year and a half and I used my free one (given through the MSQ, I believe). I have the urge to buy another one. I can see myself doing this every 6 months or so lol.

How often do you guys use one or are you completely happy with your character and could never think to change them?

Tbh I'm ALWAYS completely happy with the way I've done my characters (asides from minor changes) but the other races are also appealing so I might switch to change it up a little.


So during my whole stay since ARR until now I used 12 fantasia (minimum) I think

at least 4 of them were used to either change the clan or adjust the skin color

It went from f Highlander -> f Roe -> f Au'ra - > f Highlander -> f Roe -> f Au'ra ->f Viera -> m Miqote ->m Au'ra

The races all look just so appealing to me and I have fond memories of each one of them. But it's also always 'I really love that but that other race has that other thing I really like'
I will surely change to Male Viera when they drop asap.
I really wish I could swap characters for different roles so I wouldn't have that issue.

atleast every 3 months. Hopefully the last time I'll ever need to use one is when Femhroths come out. Until then, I might be a bunny next week or a Roe in the next month.

I usually get an urge to use one every 3 months or so. For me quite often it depends on what job I feel like playing as a main because I think some jobs look better with certain races. I prefer to tank as a hume, dancer really suit bunny's etc... I might try elvaan or femroe as neither seems all that popular and I will be main PLD for Endwalker, both would look great as PLD imo.

I used to be one of those people who used one almost monthly so long lost count, but I've been clean for a year now.

I've gone from Hyur -> Miqo'Te in ARR I think ( or maybe it was the opposite, I actually have issues remembering ).
And then I switched to Au'Ra in Heavensward up to Shadowbringers where I switched to Viera and recently I switched to Hyur again.

I don't really have any urge to switch mid expansions, but if a new race comes out I like to try it and I often end up sticking with it.
Main reason I switched to Hyur was because of the lack of helmets and hairstyles with Viera.
Otherwise I probably wouldn't have.

This was the main reason I switched from Viera last week, I was actually really happy with the character but got frustrated at not being able to wear head gear.
