MAP (not mini Map)

I having a big issue with BIG MAP. I always want to keep on.

For some reason, it always selects a map after interaction with objects or NPC. Second, the MAP lock function doesn't work. If I press B button on the Xbox controller it closes the map.

It is so annoying that I always have to deal with maps. I didn't have this issue in other MMO games.

The mini-map (also I use it for a different purpose) is too small for me so I prefer to use the big map.

Maybe I am doing something wrong. Any help would be grateful.

If you go under the HUD settings you can make the mini-map larger if you want. Don't know if that'll help, but it is an option.

The problem with the mini-map is that it doesn't have a proper zoom-out function.

It is so sad and I am going to have to live with this issue. I just make it unenjoyable, I can't concentrate on reading lore or story, or other activities.

You can zoom in and out on the mini, it's just not as wide-angled as the main map.

I think it is strange map behavior. Why game select map after the interaction? I didn't ask for it. Maybe it is a bug?

I'm not sure, I don't play with a controller so I don't know the functions. Hope you can manage to figure it out though.

I just press M to open the map and press it again to close it. You could change the keybind for it so you can do it on a controller.
