DISABLE EXPERIENCE POINT SUGGESTION

I can assume that my suggestion is unpopular and unnecessary but I would like to disable or lock my current level, it means I can't go level up.

'WTF?' 'Why?' you probably wondering.

You see, I'd fancy to start over again with new character for fun and know what I'm doing. Plus I want to collect everything what ARR offer such mounts, minions, cards and even extreme mode etc then move on HW. Here's problem; I want to get a relic weapon for each job. While do some books, I have to go through dungeons and gain unwanted EXPs to level up. When I entered HW and I'm already lv60+ too strong for enemies in HW which is not fun for me. I want to be equal as them. So I thought about lock/disable exp suggestion. I know it won't happen but it'll be nicer

I guess there's nothing particularly wrong with that suggestion. Wouldn't hurt to have it (aside from perhaps forgetting to turn it off). That said, I wouldn't remotely try to farm Zodiac weapons synced. You gotta do Tam Tara SO many times. I think I'd go insane running it at level.

Why don't you just ask for the ability to set your level to a desired, lower level? That way you could just go into the menu, hit 'I am now level 54' and then do your thing without having to worry about intentionally kneecapping your progression?

In FFXIV there really isn't much point in disabling XP gain.
If you level several classes/jobs in parallell you can make sure none of them is significantly overleveled.

I would like levelsync as a command you can use anywhere in the overworld, a command like /lsync 50 90 for level 50 and item level 90 would be really cool, and would fulfil op's desire to do things at-level. Seeing as levelsync already exists as a feature for fates i cant imagine this being terribly hard to do (an added bonus would be no more having to resync to a fate every time you enter a new one, or put one toe out of the fate's area)
