Please add an Orchestrion to the Honey Bee Inn

The Honey Bee Inn would be such a cool spot to hang out but that Songbird song gets old real quick. I wish we could choose which songs are being played. Maybe with an extended Orchestrion list.

Actually, it would even be cool to have some kind of community play for DJing or dancing since the Honey Bee Inn is the only non-housing club in the game. I guess the only problem is that it's story locked, so sprouts can't go and hang out there. Who knows, maybe Than red goes into midlife crisis and starts a club at the gold saucer.

You know it's not actually called the Honeybee Inn, it's actually called the Beehive (yes it's obvious it was referencing FFVII's den of inequity though), but that's just splitting hairs on my part I guess. :P

Unfortunately as that is not an instanced area you're not going to see an Orchestrion there because it's a normal zone area. The Orchestrion makes use of the secondary sound channel that is normally used for battle themes and 'special' music, something that an instanced area like the Inn Room or a FC/personal house would not have to worry about.

Hence the Orchestrion is restricted to only being in instanced housing areas (as in, the Inn Room and personal housing). This is also why we don't have a personal Orchestrion we can take with us anywhere, it's due to how the BGM in the game is programmed to function sadly.

I don’t expect it to happen, but it would be nice to be able to reserve certain venues like the wedding chapel…but not for a wedding.

Basically rentable party venues with interactibles.

Beehive would be an excellent one.

A concert venue would be equally appealing... heck a place my FC could share screenshots would be fun too. (Yeah, let me show you my vacation slide show..)

I'd be cool with a club instance in the gold saucer too. Maybe you could reserve the room like the chapel or it's open like the Triple Triad Battle Hall but someone is DJ and gets to select the music from their Orchestrion list.
