Why is Square Enix holding back the good hairstyles??

That makes no sense... we still have 1 or 2 new styles every content patch, not counting the ones that end on Mogstation.

I agree with this post. Why they have just ignored really good hairstyles that NPCs carry (They gave us Aymeric, Alphinaud, Y'shtola- am I missing one? And they have to know that Lyse, Hilda, and Ryne are among the list of highly requested hairstyles.) and I don't care for the "well npcs are unique and-- or We have something like that already---no and no.
1 they're npcs with exclusive hairstyles that are usually better than the options available so it's only natural people will want it because it is a better option than what is provided.
2 if we had it already then ppl wouldn't ask for a specific hairstyle and just settle with mediocre walmart brand rather than the name brand. (Frans ponytail is the name brand, while we get the Walmart brand)

I don't care about clipping either, and long hairs I imagine will just have a slight swish-swish motion from side to side which I'm okay with. I'd also like big fluffy curly hair too- that's super long.
Other hairstyles Ashe, Yuna ffx, Rikku, Rinoa, Squall, Tidus, Kuja, Basch, Balthier, Beatrix, Garnet and a slew of others that ppl would definitely pay real $ for if they were available in the mogstation. Two things I cannot stand about this game is the really bland character creation/lack of unique or requested hairstyles and housing decoration system. But, yes I support more NPC hairstyles into the game. Specifically, Yugiri, Ysayle, Lyse, Ryne, Hilda hairstyles (I didn't name Hien bc I hate him and don't play a male character.)

The hair you're referencing in the picture looks a lot like one we already have. Used to use it myself.

It's sort of similar to a Viera hairstyle without ears but this one is leaps better than what we have.

I wish more hairstyle used the physics system that cloth/clothing uses (probably uses havoc). Far too many longer hair styles look like they are frozen.

Physics usually use up a LOT of performance especially when server and client both have to process them. So i do not think we will get any more physics related updates until PS4 support is getting cut. Wich it probably wont for a long while.

Love all of these suggestions and I hope they listen to their fan base eventually. I know they know we want these hairstyles.. People have been asking for them for years, I just hope they implement them in the game eventually ugh

I want updated faces too.
The face I use on Highlander is very noticably lower res than the rest some faces just look like they stopped half-way.

I really hope the character creator in general is updated..

I hope we have some nice new hairstyles in Endwalker for all Races.

Not sure why they are holding off on Lyse and Hilda's hair as they are always asked for.
